PARKING at MU:

Parking will be free on Thursday evening and Saturday sessions. Parking on Friday will be $4 (tickets available in the registration desk). Recommended parking garage: Virgina Avenue Garage (map link.)

TO COLUMBIA BY PLANE:

American Airlines provides non-stop service between Columbia Regional Airport (COU) and Chicago and Dallas. Ground transportation into Columbia (20 minute drive) is available, but you will need to call in advance to schedule reservations with a taxi firm or reserve a car with Hertz or Enterprise. VIA A MAJOR AIRPORT:

Columbia is about a 2-hour drive from the St. Louis airport (STL) and a 2.5-hour drive from the Kansas City airport (MCI). There are two options of getting to Columbia from St. Louis or Kansas City. Either take the reliable MO-X shuttle service or rent a car and drive. MO-X has several regularly scheduled trips to and from both airports to any location in Columbia. Venue:

Thursday evening will start with registration and a reception in the lobby of the Physics Building (5:00 pm), located on the eastern edge of the MU campus. A public Lecture on the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physics will be held 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm on the Monsanto Auditorium of the Life Sciences Center (just South from Physics).

Friday scientific sessions and the conference dinner will be held in the Memorial Union building located near the center of the campus.

Saturday scientific sessions will be held in the Physics Building.
